Example: copying NQ to MNQ does not always mean a 1:1 contract ratio

E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures (NQ) have a USD 20 multiplier per point; Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures (MNQ) have a USD 2 multiplier per point. With a 10-point stop, theoretical risk per contract is USD 200 for NQ and USD 20 for MNQ, before fees and slippage. Ten MNQ contracts match one NQ contract in nominal exposure per point; they do not guarantee identical fills or results.

Educational example calculated from CME specifications. This is not a recommended account configuration or a TraderPilot performance test.

  5. Review license, module, trial and renewal terms for your selected plan.

Questions about TraderPilot

What is TraderPilot and who is it for?
TraderPilot at traderpilot.net is a set of tools for futures traders who need to organize execution and risk management. It includes a desktop application for TopStep, a NinjaTrader 8 add-on and a panel for managing connected infrastructure and accounts. This reference describes the products at traderpilot.net. It is not a broker or a prop firm.
Does TraderPilot Pro run in TradingView or a browser?
TraderPilot Pro runs inside NinjaTrader 8 on Windows. The operator panel is accessible from a browser but depends on connections to your VPS instances and accounts. These products have different requirements.
Can I copy trades across VPS instances?
The TraderPilot panel can link a master account to followers on other VPS instances, configure a multiplier for each follower and map instruments such as NQ and MNQ. Check your plan modules, each account connection and your provider's permissions before trading.
Does copying guarantee the same result in every account?
No. Latency, slippage, rejected orders and contract sizes can produce different results. Test opening, modifying and closing trades in simulation and review each account's positions.
Where can I find prices, trial and renewal terms?
The pricing page lists Desktop, Pro and bundle plans. Review the billing policy and checkout terms before paying. Panel modules, limits and terms are available under Subscription inside the panel.
Does TraderPilot guarantee passing an evaluation or avoiding losses?
No. The software helps execute the trader's configuration; it does not guarantee profitability, passing an evaluation or automatic compliance with every prop firm rule. Check current rules directly with each provider.
